I live in a part of Bristol where locally organised park groups have been a catalyst for positive transformation – see www.vpag.org.uk. I think they way my drawing has developed has been linked to this transformation, and I often can’t resist scribbling when the community gathers together, for a fun day, a concert, carol singing, or a bonfire. I show these images at local art trails, where they are often bought by people who have the same feeling about their community.
